When you purchase a ticket, you check a box agreeing to the following. The short version: we'd love to take photos and videos at our events and share them in our advertising. Here's the full text so you know exactly what that means.
I hereby authorize Ivy Leaf Events to take and publish photographs and/or videos taken on the date of event for which tickets are purchased, and our likenesses, for use by Ivy Leaf Events in print, digital, or other mediums.
I understand that I will not be paid, compensated or reimbursed in any way for Ivy Leaf Events' current or future use of the photographs or likenesses. I further acknowledge and agree that I have no rights of ownership to the photos or videos and/or likenesses.
I understand that Ivy Leaf Events intends to place the photographs and/or videos on its website and social media, and make copies of the photographs available for the personal use of those in the photo.
I hereby release and hold harmless Ivy Leaf Events, its employees, and any third parties involved in the creation or publication of photographs and/or videos or likenesses from liability for any and all claims by me or any third party in connection with the photographs/videos taken on the date specified above. I knowingly give up any reasonable expectation of privacy or confidentiality for myself associated with those images and/or videos.
